The weather doesn't always react the way you initially want it too but the end results can still be beautiful even if they aren't what you expected. In this photoshoot the clouds started rolling in as soon as we got there so we were holding our breath and praying it didn't rain. We didn't get your typical sunny photoshoot but instead we got a rainbow and an awesome sunset which is unique compared to previous photoshoots I've had. Kathryn and CB are a great easygoing couple and were great going from field to field with me even when the raindrops fell in a few spots. to see more visit

Loved getting to take these pictures as Patrick and Lauren are preparing for marriage! It was a day of perfect springtime weather and a perfect sunset...that plus a wonderful couple made for a great photoshoot. To see more visit http://suzedesign.weebly.com/couples.html
_I always like taking pictures of friends, and while I haven't known David or Leslie for that long, David, or as my husband calls him Jimbo, has been one of my husbands good friends for several years. They struggled through grad school together, saw each other through singleness, dating, engagement and now marriage. Jimbo and Leslie actually started dating two weeks less than a year from the day Will and I started dating. They got engaged two weeks less than a year from the day that Will and I got engaged. They will be getting married one week less than a year from when Will and I got married so its been fun for Will and I to watch them go through the dating process at the exact same pace that we did (dating, engaged and married in just under a year). This shoot was especially fun because they had gotten engaged just a week before so they had a floating on clouds look on their face. I was a fan of that because it made the shoot a breeze...they were not shy of being lovey-dovey for the camera. But anyways here is David and Leslie! This past Saturday I had an engagement session with the soon to be married, Amy and Blake. What was a little different about this shoot is Will joined me for the first time on a shoot and it was a lot of fun! Because of his natural curiosity, he has been asking me questions about photography since we started dating and it was great to have him there because he had a great set of eyes adding good ideas to the shoot. I love how supportive he is of me and what I'm interested in. The four of us had a great time on the farm in the beautiful weather and I'm looking forward to shooting at their upcoming wedding in July To see more from this photoshoot visit http://suzedesign.weebly.com/couples.html
